The foundation

Ordered a 4 door Wrangler Rubicon (JKUR) from Horsham Jeep on 21st July 2015 with the following factory options:

1. Black leather interior (thanks Stewart!)

2. Heated front seats

3. Darkened rear glass

Vehicle arrived at Horsham on 25th November 2015, only just over 4 months after ordering.

Thanks to Dean at Horsham Jeep for his professional and cheerful assistance; to my fellow JOC members for their freely given advice, encouragement & humour; and especially to Stewart, for not only sorting out the black leather, but also for his personal support on the day of ordering – all greatly appreciated. :great: :great: :great:

The Extras aka “some parts”

This package arrived at Heathrow on Monday morning …

Thanks to Randy Flogaus from Quadratec for sorting out my American order. The consignment arrived safely at Nene Maidenhead this morning - in very similar condition (see pic 3) - phew :icon_geek:

Tomorrow I will be visiting Nene to collect one vital piece and take it to Horsham Jeep for their kind attention.

Hi Stewart

About 1.30 ish ... it was a busy old day for me - set off at 8.50am to Nene first to collect hood and check my Quadratec consignment - then sat on a motorway for a while on the way to Horsham - back home about 4.45pm ... knackered but all tasks completed (I think).

Mark in service did say you had been in earlier ... shame I missed you, it would have been good to catch up and nose around your Rubicon :glasses:

Here are a few more pictures of ... boxes!! Oh and one of a new bonnet sitting inside MY Rubicon - all safe & sound ...

The modifications ~ phase 1

All bodywork changes carried out by Horsham Jeep prior to collection. Namely: 10th Anniversary Rubicon bonnet; colour coded wheel arches; petrol cap cover; and an easter egg :icon_pirat:

PS I fitted a full set of slush mats myself ... steady tiger

Yes Steve .... metal & Mopar part - almost certainly the same as on Black edition - covers exposed fuel cap and smartens up the rear wing (imho :glasses:)

Anyone spotted the "easter egg"??
