Based on replies to this thread it looks like the JOC members going to Jeeps in the Jungle 2 are:

Anyone else who I have missed?

 

I think I have meet everyone on the list at previous events except @doodle, which is a bit ironic as I think I live closer to him than almost anyone else in JOC.

 

I have been having CB trouble of late, to be honest I am not sure I have ever got it working properly, but it is hard to really check unless you are around others with a CB.  I plan to check all my wiring tomorrow to make sure that is good and then check it with an SWR meter again.  But, at the very least, I'll be looking to check it with somebody else before we start.  Hope that will be OK.

@TonyandAneta in the email you mention groups for the greenlaning portion.  Do we need to organise these ourselves, or do you split everyone up into groups with similar offroad capability?

Hi UKTJ,  STU 2985 goes here a lot and may be coming to JitJungle . He did last year.

 

I'm bringing Doodle's CB tuning gizmo which I borrowed to give it him back. He is good with CBs.

Usually 5, or at least it used to be. I’m not sure there is a rule though.

I have a portable CB - the range is not huge but if you have nothing else happy for you to use it (will make sure it’s chatged)

Hi Rhoda, Cb channel is usually announced on the day but frequently 4 or 5.

We will organise groups on Saturday during lunch break We have 3 group leaders at the moment so still looking for volunteers if anyone fancies it

I can lead a group if no one more

knowledgeable is around (don’t know the area but can read a map  )

@UKTJOn that note- it may be a little longer- But we should defo fix that.. Ive had to pull out as i cannot get the time off work. (It all went Pete Tong here!)

No worries, and thanks anyway.  Once I get mine up and running it may be helpful if I could come over some time to do a test and check it is working properly.  I don't know anyone else with a CB local to home.

@digger   I am running my annual private event at Hawkstone Park on Sunday 23 July this year 10-4. Its £30 (site take the fees not me) you more than welcome to come along!  As for MJUK JIJ I only got my TJ back on the road couple weeks ago so couldnt commit on buying a  ticket
