Hi, I cannot open the ''Information box'''

Can any one tell me please?

1. what is the likely start time on each of Sat/Sun?

2. Will it be possible to get in to the Saturday site if I was late arriving?

Thanks.

Was the box that you clicked on on the first post on this thread, if so it was supposed to be a photo but it has lost the link to the picture so I have now deleted.
Full details will be posted soon and I will have to leave your other questions for others to answer.

Hi Jim,

I just wanted to make sure you got my PM that I have to cancel (my son got covid and my summer got turned upside down). I’m gutted to miss it but more importantly wanted to make sure my spot went to someone on your waiting list.

All the best and really looking forward to seeing everyone at the next event!

Hi,

I am booked to be on the summer camp but my jeep is poorly so I can’t make it.

Hopefully, you can find someone else.

We won’t be arriving until at least lunchtime on Saturday, so it would be great if someone could post the Saturday location and if there’s any requirements to get in?

Not planning to do much on Saturday other than spectate and say hello.

Trouble with convoys - many are not trained in convoy driving, it does require a certain discipline, and convoys have a nasty habit of being split up by joe public!

@DavidWMT10, @jerryg

Looked up my Google timeline from last year and the Saturday site is just off Slindon Bottom Road.

Here are some screenshots of the journey from the main Slindon site and an aerial view of the site. You will have to look out for the entrance as its quite hidden. Yellow X is where the entrance should be.

Thanks Raakhee.

So for 'X marks the spot' for others to use :-

Nearest Post Code is BN18 0SN  (not very accurate in rural areas)

Approx Grid Ref - SU 951 080

W3W - restores.dose.jumpy  (as this is a 3 metre square it may not be exactly at the gate, but close enough!)

I think last year the gate was closed and locked once we were on site so you may need to make arrangements with some of the JOC crew if you’re not turning up at the prearranged time.

At the request of the Slindon Valley site owner we are not publishing the coordinates. It is only opened once a year for us.

If for some reason you are unable to make check in, email me at Jimolexadirect@gmail.com and we can sort it with the specific coordinates.
