Hi all super excited for the weekend and wild camping at Slindon. Think I'm going to swap the road tyres!

By 'wild' do i assume there are no toilet facilities so bring your own?

Cheers

Wild Camping means a single porta loo.

Other than that it’s all down to you. Although there is usually burgers and a cuppa once the day gets going on site.

Really neal, a single porta loo is wild camping ???????????????????? Mind you I suppose it could depend on how bad campers can cook 😱💩💩💩💩🤣

Dear All,

Saturday Catering burger van is now not available so please plan on bringing / making / showing off your tailgating skills with cuppas and sandwiches etc.

Sunday burger van still confirmed.

Paid last night and veen added to list- Cheers.

Question to the "Oh Great Ones"- On the two days- where I may not stay the night would you have an issue if I brought one vehicle one day and then the other one the next? No drama if i cannot- it could be that i haven't sorted mud tyres for the Jk yet anyway.

Oh , that’s gotta be OK surely, not to mention quite cool 😎! The year we had summer camp at Devils pit I took the CJ and the YJ on one day and the JKU on the next……..mind you I think I did actually have to pay for three vehicles………..and only got one T shirt 🙈

Thanks Tim and Paul,

I originally wanted it Anvil like the stock JK but the colour looked too dark on the small sample that they showed me so I picked another colour from their Chrysler chart and I think it looks quite nice.

For Info if people want to go Camping with toilets and showers near the main Slindon site, I booked 3 nights at the "Old Farm Camp and Touring site" which is minutes away.

Very much new to the club but saw the event and have signed up straight away.

Just fitted some new 31” Insa Turbo Risko MT’s to the TJ in the hope it will cope a a little better on the day.

Look forward to seeing you all then.

PS did we confirm on the dog situation?

Hi, I’m late to the party but are tickets still available?

Other daft question is about the wild camping spot. Is it OK for normal tents are are we all hardcore rooftent and trailer safari pros? 🤣

Thanks!

Edit: OK, ignore questions. I just found the shop and bought the ticket 👍🏻

Yes the Saturday / Sunday before we need to head out to both sits to trim back bramble, and lay out course markings. The more helpers the better!
