Due to family circumstances I've just traded my 2020 2 door JL Rubicon for a new 2022 Hydro blue 4 door JLU Rubicon,

Loved my 2 door but the 4 door has really impressed me with its ride and handling.

Your JL looks great 👍

New addition to the family?

Thanks Jim 👍

Lol 😁 kind of.... grandchildren getting bigger and wanting to visit more,

Extra doors and lots more space in a 4 door.

Sounds very much like fun what with the grandkids visiting. 👍
But already proving very expensive...... And worth every penny.
Enjoy

Nice looking Jeep there 👌

Decided to get my Jeep modified,

Now running on

3½ inch Terreflex st3 suspension

17 inch Terreflex Nomads

35in Falken mt's

Smittybilt Stryker stubby,

Warn evo 10s winch

Smittybilt SRC rock sliders

Not had chance to get any clearer pics but these will do. 👍

I've yet to see a standard one 🤣

I love the blacked out front lights 🙇‍♂️

Did you do the mods yourself?

My eagle eyes have spotted that your OEM front bumper had PDC but your new bumper doesn't.  Did you disable them using a Tazer? 🤔  I've been eyeing up alternative bumpers on eBay but was unsure how to handle the parking sensors.    More details please 🙂

No,

I used Storm Jeeps unfortunately i don't really have the facilities for a big job like that,

They did a great job on it,

Yes you need a Tazer or similar to disable the front sensors.

While you are getting used to a Wrangler, the longer you can keep it stock, the more aware you will become of what an unmodified Wrangler can do off road. If you take your time and enjoy experiencing what your Rubicon can do out of the box, your Jeep will become a second skin. After modifications you will go through the same familiarisation adjustment again, but you will have a better sense of what abilities your Jeep has gained, what it has lost, and when this is really going to make a difference to how you drive.

This is very true - mine is still stock (not because of money of course lol) - and I do get surprised with what the car can do (more that what I am usually willing to try lol)
