I am working slowly in my own Jeep but it's cost and time. Keep it up I can't wait to watch your project develop
Platinum Member TimC Posted April 25, 2019 Platinum Member Share Posted April 25, 2019 Hi @PDB, I hate to keep jumping in on other peoples threads ....but, here we go anyway I actually thought it was an OME lift myself, I’m sure I remember seeing those yellow shocks under it, however according to this thread it’s a Rough Country one....maybe with OME shocks and you are correct with the tyre size ..... so 2” lift with 265/70r17 and 30mm spacers, as far as I’m aware no rubbing or ESC issues. Have a look at this thread: and this pic

Moabs some of the guys running Wrangler take offs say they need only around 5mm to clear the front breaks My Pintlers as far as I know are the only WK/XK set in the uk as I bought them of a guy who imported them for his WK AEV classed them as +25mm where the Wrangler ones are listed at +10mm but what this means I have no clue
Chrisby
You’ll need 5mm minimum to fit JK rims to either a WK or commander. I have 2017 Rubicon rims on my WK and without spacers the just hit the calliper . I fitted first without but soon found out it wasn’t a good choice ! you should also the avoid any rubbing on full lock also

What offset wheel is required to void rubbing please? Any ESP issue? Thanks hi sorry for no reply . yes it OME lift . 265/70/17 will just touch the plastic in wing on drivers side as the aircon pipes are just behind it ..and no ESP problems .
