Platinum Member Vettemike Posted August 23, 2016 Platinum Member Share Posted August 23, 2016 I'm new to the club too and fancy a bit of off-road fun. I have a 1995 YJ, pretty standard at the moment. Any advice on what I should change to get the best out of these events or at least meet the minimum requirements?

Any advice on what I should change to get the best out of these events or at least meet the minimum requirements? Welcome to the club Mike :wav1 You don't need to change anything, you'll have a ton of fun in your stock YJ at Slindon without any mods and it's god to find out what it can do in stock form. What you can do however is another question....... :icon_e_biggrin: I'd probably start with a set of good all terrain tyres. Have fun. Platinum Member Vettemike Posted August 24, 2016 Platinum Member Share Posted August 24, 2016 Thanks guys. I am going to look at some new tyres, any recommendations? Would stock ones do for this event in case I don't have time? Any recommendations on some mild Mods welcome. I live near Bracknell and I am looking for somewhere to do a bit of practice off-road etc, again, any suggestions would be appreciated - Cheers

A good all terrain tyre will suit you well but we have had many jeeps on the standard tyres too at Slindon. It really depends how wet the site gets !
