Platinum Member Reiver Posted December 8, 2019 Platinum Member Share Posted December 8, 2019 So now we know there's a few of us what about a meet? Or better still, one that involves some greenlaning! Just been on the 2019 Kielder Safari so I've got the taste for more off-roading.

Platinum Member Reiver Posted January 16, 2020 Platinum Member Share Posted January 16, 2020 I've been collecting the local Greenlaning guides from L**d R*v*r Owner magazine (befrore I realised Jeep were a better bet). There are quite a few that are do-able without a 6 inch lift. Happy to meet up some time to discuss further.
Platinum Member Reiver Posted January 18, 2020 Platinum Member Share Posted January 18, 2020 The ByWayMap is useful but quite a few of them are just really narrow little-used roads rather than proper greenlanes. Still it's a good place to start. I suppose joining the Green Lane Association would be best.

You get access to Trailwise for info on which lanes you can drive and when, plus it helps support the cause. I'd strongly recommend it, does cost a few quid but worth it. Platinum Member V Posted January 20, 2020 Platinum Member Share Posted January 20, 2020 (edited) A lot of GLASS groups in the past organised local pub meets which were good for meeting new friends. I'm not sure if 'Wombat Mike' is still on here, but there were quite a few of us non-GLASS members that just happened to be in the pub on the same night as the GLASS meet and this continued for a number of years.
