Definitely there for the weekend. I'm bringing loads of sunscreen as well 🌞

OMG. Those Loop earplugs are a game changer. I use them at home as I have noisy neighbours. One has a car that has 50 doors! It's a Fiat 500 but she opens and shuts all of the doors multiple times. Like why?

What are 'loop' earplugs. Is that just the name for the soft ones connected by a string? Or something else ?  I 'm having problems with noise  and the ear defenders I have (not cheap!)  seem to be less effective than they once were when using machinery.

Thanks

They are in ear plugs that filter out most noise. Really comfy and come in different noise reductions to suit your needs. Here is the link: https://www.loopearplugs.com/collections/all

I've gone for the Quiet ones which reduce up to 27dB

I have found that ear defenders don't last long and should be considered replaceable like good gloves. The ear cushion seals collapse a little with every use due to the normal pressure exerted by the headband. I usually buy the cheaper ones and replace them when they start getting grubby.

Many thanks to both of you. Loop plugs are new to me.  I have various sets of ear defenders, all look good but the expensive ones( £30 /20 years ago) are now years old and my plugs are grim!  I shall be replacing all!  I thought it was my ears!

I don't need the scrooge comments thank you , I've heard enough from the family! 😁
