In loving memory of:
James Francis Olexa
08.04.1965 - 12.11.2022

We welcome you to join us to bid farewell to & celebrate the life of Jim on Tuesday 29th November 2022.

Please arrive by 11:05am

Service Time: 11:30am

Burial: Princethorpe Cemetery
Address:  Leamington Road, Princethorpe, Rugby, CV23 9PY

Jim was tremendously passionate about Jeep & the Jeep Community so it would be truly amazing if he could be accompanied on his final journey from the church to his place of rest by a Jeep procession with the Jeep family. I am 100% certain Jim would love to watch this from above & he’d have the largest smile on his face seeing the streets of Rugby lined with Jeeps.

Celebration of Life: Caffeine & Machine

Address: Ettington, CV37 7NS
Time: 2:30 onwards

We'd love for you to join his to raise a glass to Jim plus share fun stories & memories!

If you would like to attend and are able to assist with the procession I would be very grateful if you could let me know.

Thank you to everyone for your support during this difficult time!

Mrs O & family x

**********UPDATE **********

Dear all, funeral home have requested that everyone who is coming to bid farewell to Jim arrived by 11:05am at St Marie's Church.

Please see below map. Oak Street is a private road owned by the church. I am hoping the jeep
Procession will be able to fit and line up down there. If not there is residential parking on the slip road off Churchill road.

I would kindly request all attendees place a sign in the windscreen saying 'Funeral St Marie's - 11:30am.

On a separate note Jim will be open casket and there will be the opportunity for people to pay their respects if they wish before the service commences.

Many thanks, Louise

Many thanks for the invitation - and my condolences to family and friends.

Sadly I will not be able to make it.  My thoughts are with you.

My condolences to the family and to all community. Even though I'd very much like to attend to pay my respects, unfortunately I won't be in UK on that day.

Hi everyone,

It's Mrs O here. Thank you for all your kind condolence messages & to all those who are participating in/ helping with the jeep procession for Jim's final journey.

Here's a couple of updates for you all.
1. St Marie's church does not have a car park but there is plenty of free residential parking near by. I am heading up to the church on Sunday again to formulate a final plan of where is best for the jeep procession to gather & will update you all again once I know more.
2. The dress code is dark and smart for the funeral please.
3. The procession will follow the hearse. On leaving the church vehicles will turn  towards Dunchurch, NOT towards rugby town centre.
4. A post funeral celebration of Jim's life will take place at Caffeine and Machine (CV37 7NS) from 2:30pm. We'd love for you to join us, share stories and raise a glass to Jim!

Thank you again for all your support during this time! You have been amazing.

It really pains me, but we will not be able to make it… we are in Cumbria/Yorkshire for the week and driving down and then back for the day would be quite taxing for us - the logistics with dogs. Etc would just not make it work…

Our thoughts will be with Lou and family, Jim was an amazing person and despite the fact I had not know him long the fact that during his own battle he would take time to help others without expecting anything in return is something I will never forget!
