I find myself at an unexpected loose end on Monday.  I thought I would maybe look to find some localism Green Lanes.  I live in Hampshire close to both the Surrey and Berkshire. Linty boundaries, any suggestions?

There are some really good lanes in North Hampshire, South of Basingstoke and heading westward. Twenty years ago I lived south of Basingstoke and worked in town. I used the byways everyday to get to and from work.

we used to run lanes in and around Petersfield etc, Also lanes up and around Horsham.

Used to go with "Thefourwheeldriveclub"  unfortunately at a time where i didn't have anything to record the lanes etc

In the end I followed @V’s suggestion.  Not sure if I found the lanes he specifically meant, but I found some south of Basingstoke using the Hampshire cc Definitive Map.  Nothing that dramatic and some were certainly little travelled judging by how overgrown they were, but a bit of traditional English countryside is always nice on a Bank Holiday.

Did you visit Five Lanes End or go past the watercress beds at Mapledurwell?

Yes, in fact I did all five lanes that meet at Five Lanes End.  Went through Mapledurwell, but must have missed the watercress beds.

After those lanes I continued south and went through one lane with what looked like a disused bridge near the start.  That was probably the best lane I found and is where I stopped to take the snap of my TJ.

Would love to go out with others, so that would be great.  What is keeping your TJ off the road at the moment?

The normal rust around the rear control arm bracket and then the split down the chassis. So having it checked out soon to find out where I stand with the rest of it. Once that then woke out best solution
