Chris Peet
Has anyone found a cure for the ESP issues after 2 inch lift kit on a Grand Cherokee WK Overland 2007? I have to press and hold the ESP button for 5 seconds to disable it every time I drive, otherwise it activates the ABS on front wheels when turning at low speed, the noise is horrendous and sounds like the wheels are being ripped off the hub for!!! The only thing you’ve done is lifted it, not changed the wheels or tyres?
V
It could be an issue with the accelerometers that control the sway bar links for ESP.
VIP Member digger Posted June 7, 2022 VIP Member Share Posted June 7, 2022 I hope this is helpful. Just a thought. Mine is stock but I had an issue with mine a couple of years ago which sounds a bit like yours. I also had the ESP going on and off along with awful noises combined with a sensation in tight turns that felt like the diffs were locked(such as pulling onto the drive!) It turned out to be a faulty rear wheel brake sensor!! Just don't ask me how this lot is connected to each other! LOL!
CandsEvo7
start with a decent code reader like JScan , its likely to be ab abs sensor they are common on. jk to cause esp issues.
