Jeep breakdown number

My useless dealer, told me that the breakdown was written on the sun visor. A quick look confrimed a few numbers on a sticker. I can now see that those numbers are American phone numbers. Is there a UK breakdown number?

The Jeep assist number on my visor is 00 800 0 I AM JEEP ( 00 800 0 426 5337 ) . Although mine is a 2014 I am pretty sure this works, I did use it when I first got the Jeep. I think, if I recall it is an international number that puts you through to Italy but they know where you are calling from and are very helpful and on the case( at least they were to me) there is an actual Italian number as well underneath +39 02 4441 2045. This is the same sticker as on my 2019 Renegade so I think, in this case, your dealer may be correct……….of course, being a Jeep dealer he is still most likely to be useless

Nothing so far. I'm getting really annoyed at the dealer though. I got scammed on a part-x, no manual "still", poor preparation of the vehicle (protective stickers not removed, tyre pressures not equal), one dustcap missing still, I don't even know how to open the bonnet.

Lift the little flap in the front grill, Ignition key goes in there to unlock it, then undo both manual latches on each side.  The bonnet is spring loaded so you'll probably need to push down on the corner of the bonnet as you move each latch (and the same to do it up again).

Thanks, but I think I got that bit.

 

I undo the side clips, use the key & the bonnet pops up half an inch. Then I think there is a clip release, I have to push or lift, but I can't see it. I can see a spring, I can see an assembly which is probably for the key, but nothing else.

Sorry, yes, you need to slide your hand in through that half inch gap and push the safety catch to the right (iirc).

Is that a JL? Mine doesn't look like that. Where you have your clip, I have a sort of wishbone assembly that seems to be going nowhere.

Mines a 2021 JL, I was under the assumption they were all the same.

It’s a European number which will only work from a UK landline. The number itself is for Italy

Jeep recovery should be included for 3yrs on your new purchase. They are pretty good and have gotten to me within 30mins. We shall not mention I called them out because I blew my head unit fuse

The local number I provided should work just fine

Was it Jeep doing the receovery, or a 3rd party?

I called Jeep Recovery and a 3rd party attended. So I suppose they sub contract but they got to me really quickly. Even got texted a link to track their arrival.
