Coojeebear
I was about to put my air pressures right (39/40/40/40 psi) but can't find thew correct air pressures for my Jeep. I didn't get a user manual, but have a PDF which directs me to the label on the edge of the nearside door. It's blank.
V
Take a look at the driver's door/frame instead. I am fairly certain that the EU whole vehicle type approval insists on a tyre size and pressure label to be fixed to the vehicle.
Spike64
Hi, I have a 2 door, 2020 JL Rubicon petrol, I can't remember which side the sticker is on and the car is (still) away waiting parts. But I did have a pic of the sticker (sad I know) . hope this helps Ian
jeepstertim
There is lots on the US forums, but many find the manufacturer's 37psi is quite high, leading to wandering and tramlining. I certainly do and run mine (JTR) at 33psi which improves the ride (anything that improves the 2 door ride must be welcome) and reduces the motorway wandering. Lots believe chalk testing gives the optimum pressure, you could try that and see where you end up.

Central Tyre Inflation Systems (CTIS) require special wheel hubs and matching wheels that an onboard air compressor can inflate and deflate the tyres through. The Hummer H1 had CTIS. My Renegade has one and I use it to manage my tyre pressures. Please don't tell me I need to get a fancy ARB compressor to manage my tyres as the accessories for this new Jeep is racking up way before it even arrives

If you're planning on deflating the tyres regularly for off roading, then a larger more expensive one would be beneficial. But for regular maintenance then you could just keep the one out of your Renegade...
VIP Member TimC Posted May 31, 2022 VIP Member Share Posted May 31, 2022 No, @Raakhee , you don’t get an inflation kit, you do get a full size spare with a 255/75R17 BFG KM2 hanging off the tailgate . Welcome to the joys of Wrangler ownership, even when you think you are all done there is always one more little mod to add. I’ve had mine for 7 years and it never really ends. As @Ludders says if you are going to be airing up and down a lot, and you will be, then invest in a decent compressor, I don’t think you renegade one is really built to take it. There’s a lot of volume in those tyres, I have had compressors just give up or blow a cylinder. If you can afford it get a decent one, ARB are good and off course has the “ off road cred” . I currently have a cheapo Chinese copy of a Skatko compressor off eBay, was about £20.00 I think, I am amazed it’s still working but it’s still hanging in there although I have had to replace the underrated components that melted or failed with the current it draws. ARB portable is what I’m going for next, it’s on my birthday list along with an ARB spare wheel trash bag .
frosty
i have an ARB one, the twin cylinder one, it is fantastic, and comes in a very strong case, inflates a 35" tire in 2 minutes, can strongly recommend it.

My Jeep has just arrived at the UK port So another 2 or 3 weeks until I take delivery.
