Gerald F
Trouble with snow is that you can't get past all the non-Jeeps that are blocking the road in front of you! Two weeks ago, we spent nearly 2 hours on the same short bit of the A1(M), until we crept into sight of the next turn-off; then a simple matter to cruise through 6" of snow on the hard shoulder to make our escape (and catch the overnight ferry home with 20 minutes to spare). Earlier, we had been risking 45mph in failing visibility and falling snow, but were being overtaken by lorries still doing 55+! Until then, we had felt pretty secure in our WK2. BTW, it was documented as an essential journey by the NHS!
Gerald F
This is all the snow we could muster here, today. 60º North! Same latitude as Helsinki and St Petersburg.
