Stew the Jeep

Recommended Posts

Certainly had the best body shape and interior, with clear views out; suited short drivers like my wife and me. The central differential was good when travelling long distances over gravel or corrugated roads in low ratio. The in-line six was unstoppable, but did wiffle through the petrol rather quickly. In Iceland we had to carry an extra 40 litres on the roof to ensure we could make a North-South crossing from one fuel station to the next.
