That's putting it mildly Couldn't believe what I was seeing and so so glad to hear no one was killed Just goes to show just how dangerous extreme off roading can be
Platinum Member V Posted October 23, 2020 Platinum Member Share Posted October 23, 2020 I wonder what happened on the first switch back? It could have been so much worse if the camera Jeep was a few seconds further ahead.

Platinum Member Volant165 Posted October 24, 2020 Author Platinum Member Share Posted October 24, 2020 Yeah would have liked to see exactly how he parked up. That would probably highlight why even if slipped out of gear the rig was able to roll over the edge.

Platinum Member V Posted September 29, 2021 Platinum Member Share Posted September 29, 2021 Another roll-over off of Black Bear Pass. A Ford Bronco Sport this time.
Platinum Member JimC Posted September 30, 2021 Platinum Member Share Posted September 30, 2021 That Bronco Sport held up well and the two occupants and the dog are alive thankfully. Impressed by how the Bronco kept the passenger compartments shape fairly in shape without folding and crushing the occupants. Ok, one or two shopping trolly dinks but hats of to Ford for their vehicle safety .

Platinum Member BLUE STAR Posted October 2, 2021 Platinum Member Share Posted October 2, 2021 I remember an episode of 'Father Ted' where he attempted to knock out a couple of dents out of his new car and it ended up looking in a similar condition
