John
Hi my names john .... I’ve got a jk wrangler & it leaks ! ive been down the road of new door seals ( 5th set ) & now the warranty Has run out on my jeep ... So as I don’t want a winter of steamed windows & wet carpet I decided to look at the problem from another angle ... most jk’s leak ... door seals don’t work .. so deal with the water in the car ....once it’s in there ... then I spotted. Armorlite on the web & after a lot of trouble it’s finally arrived ( they won’t ship out side the uk .... ) the fit is very very good I did silicone down the outer side by the door just to be sure it dosnt get any water behind the flooring & I siliconed around the drain plugs ... now when the water comes in ... I can just deal with it ... pull the plug & let it out or just wipe it up ... simples https://goarmorlite.com/products/jeep-wrangler-jk-front-flooring

In what aspect ? how does the plug work ? or is it draining from the plug like I expected? the pic is 24hrs after fitting it ... just overnight rain ... I popped the plug ... drove to work ... and just wiped the damp floor with some paper tissue ..when I got there
Matt
I think I understand now, I hadn't realised there was a drain hole in the footwell.. I've about given up on trying to prevent water ingress too, think ill be seeking some of these out
Platinum Member spookie the aardvark Posted October 9, 2020 Platinum Member Share Posted October 9, 2020 Sounds less like a Jeep and more like a Land Rover
