Hi All,

Thanks to those that have signed up already. In order to have a fighting chance to match or exceed the amount of money we raised for Kent and Surrey Air Ambulance last year (£2500 at this event!!) we are in need of a few more drivers for the charity event, especially Sunday. Please let Jules know if you can help ASAP as the event is approaching fast.

Jim

For those of you joining the display, Jim put this together last year for the rigs on the stand if you want to use it or bring your own highlighting any features or mods. We get a great footfall on the stand with a lot of queries from the public about our Jeeps. I am sure we will have a great stand location again this year too.

ps:  We have left the section for the price of those mods off the form in the event that your partners are attending Speedfest!

Hi Jules, I've filled in the entry on the JOC shop, correctly I hope.  I 've applied for club stand on Sat only. I may be able to do Sunday too but I may not which is why I haven't entered before. If there's space on Sunday and I can stay all day plus you want me to, I guess we can sort it out at the time. is this ok ?

Please sign up for both now. Brands Hatch is very strict about access, not us. Tuesday is the cutoff for us to provide them the reg and driver details for each day. Brands will not issue us tickets or give access beyond that date.

Application logged Digger. All good.

As Jim said. We will need exactly what you are requiring by the cut off point. No changes can be made after that.

Let me know ASAP if you need your application amended.

Some important information on behalf of the organisers MSV and ourselves for all those who will participating at the venue with the Jeep Owners Club.

  • Arrival times, leaving times & vehicle movement

It is preferable for those attending to be on the club stand or at the off-road venue no latter than 0745 each day. There will be significant vehicles attending and queuing at the main gate inevitable. Should you arrive too late then you will be refused admission and directed to the main car parking areas by MSV Marshalls.

Given the high level of visitors to this event, there is to be no display vehicle movement on the infield other than at time of entry or exit. We request display vehicles remain in position until the end of the event, however, if you do require to move your vehicle, please note all vehicle movement, especially at exit, MUST be accompanied by a Brands Hatch marshal.

  • Vehicles

Registered vehicles must be suitable for the event theme (e.g. American vehicles only for SpeedFest).

Vehicles will be accepted/rejected at the discretion of MSV.

You must arrive in your registered vehicle – arriving in an unregistered vehicle will result in you being refused entry and directed to the public car park.

If you plan to arrive with your display vehicle on a trailer, you must confirm in advance with the event team by emailing: americanspeedfest@msv.com

  • Tickets

These will be supplied by the Jeep Owners Club as per the information we have received. They will be emailed for you to print off and bring with you.

E-tickets will include a parking code. These must be displayed clearly visible in your front windscreen as you enter the venue – marshals will direct you to the correct location using the code.

Tickets are vehicle specific. You cannot transfer between vehicles.

  • General

You will be liable for the repair cost of any damage to MSV property or equipment that arises as a direct result of you or passenger’s negligence.

No dogs/pets (other than guide dogs) are permitted on site, any visitors found with an animal will be escorted from the venue.

Parking locations for all vehicles are at the discretion of MSV.

Use of unmanned aerial vehicles or drones by visitors for film and photography purposes is strictly prohibited.

hi Jim, I guess you are saying sign up anyway and if you can't do Sunday, so be it.  However I've just tried to resign up  for Sat/Sun  club stand and 3 nights camp but it won't let me. How do I edit my ticket request?

Got your club stand passes all sorted. You just need to go onto American Speedfest website to purchase your camping as that gets purchased directly from them.

Almost upon us now.

We ask all of you to be on the club stand, including those who are diving for charity, no later than 0745hrs, both days.

VERY IMPORTANT:

All of those who are driving the off-road venue must produce a valid driving licence to MSV event control. Jim and myself will take you to the organisers once all together. Once signed in we will travel as a group to the off-road venue.

We kindly ask you do not make your own way to the off-road venue.

Finally......don’t forget your passes

Jules

Note: tell them you are in the JOC group as the tickets may try and point you elsewhere. You can’t miss us with the sail flags.
