Administrators stewart Posted January 20, 2019 Administrators Share Posted January 20, 2019 Hi Guys well it's been a month now that I have been living in Australia ! We are waiting on the arrival of Alison's JK Rubicon Recon edition that Alex at Buzz Special Vehicles Kindly made some adjustments for to suit the Australian conditions ! I know you guys don't want to hear about the weather but the Australians have been whinging about how hot it's been but really it's not that bad! The worst thing is they turn up the aircon so high that you bloody freeze when you go in a store office or restaurant ! Sure its 40c outside but really do you need to make it so cold! I am yet to meet up with the Jeep Clubs here or do any activities, I have been really missing that recently now things are settling down after the move! One great thing is my cousin made a 570mile trip over to catch up and yes he drives a Jeep! I was great to get in a JK again events a passenger!
Gerald F
Australia is an off-roaders paradise, and they have so many specialist firms producing mods and accessories. We saw a lot of JKs laden with extras, and the currently most popular model, the WK2. There are some excellent FaceBook pages for various interests. The general feeling, on the one I follow, is that FCA Australia is not a helpful organisation, but there is a very strong Jeep following there, much more so than ten years ago when I first visited. Hope you have lots of fun when the Rubicon arrives; I'm quite jealous!
