Hi, and thanks for the add.

My Jeep is a 2010 (LHD )Wrangler Sport JK 2.8CRD ,registered in Portugal .

Apologies if I should be posting this somewhere else.

I need a new front bumper, the original appears the  same as UK models of similar age, with manufacturers code : 1BD28RXFAE, but can anyone advise whether the bumper from a 2017 UK model ,code :  IFN88RXFAA (which looks the same in photos)would be a direct replacement?

Are the different part numbers for one with fog lights, one without?

If the manufacturer changes a bumper after type approval then I would expect a new EU whole vehicle type approval would be required as a bumper is quite important in the crash safety tests. If the JK has got an updated type approval and did have a bumber internals redesign, I think it would still fit as there would be different bumper fitments for after-market bumpers if this was so.

Hi Lyn,

I have a 2014 JK bumper with foglights off a Rubicon sat in storage here in the UK if that helps at all.
