Hi Everyone,

Just advised my Broker of my updated mods, and he came back today to say that the current insurer will no longer insure!

So Broker will research for me. Keep you all posted.

I didn't think my mods were as crazy as some of the changes I've seen online in the UK.

Regards.  Rob

I moved to Adrian Flux today. They came in cheaper than my current insurance and didn't have problem with all my Mods plus they insure you when your off road which my old insurance didn't. Didn't find that out till I'd bought the insurance!!. The also mirrored my no claims which the other lot wouldn't.

Rob,

There are a few insurance threads in the forum worth reading, do a search and you will get a few options.

A-plan insurance a few of the modified JKs on the forum if I remember correctly.

Thanks Guys,

Got a quote from A Plan (wish I joined the website sooner!), and I've gone back to my Current Broker to see if he can match!

In the meantime, I love this site.  It differs from the social media platforms, as I find everyone here objective and helpful.

Compliments to the Admin!

Thanks Rob,

Forum allows for so much more than the social platforms, hope the insurance works out for you.

Hi Everyone,

I'm "back in the game"!

Current Broker came back to me with a new quote from Equity Red Star who accepted all my mods; albeit at just over £100 than A-Plan.  However, because I was part-way with the previous Insurer who cancelled me, I got a part-rebate for what I paid initially which went towards the balance for Equity.  In the circumstances I am staying with the Current Broker and going with Equity.

However, if they were fresh quotes, I would have gone with A-Plan.

Hope this makes sense!

Rob
