Yes, the d35 on the YJ.

Find a replacement 4:56 R&P and change it.

First the engine, now this. Beginning to think the YJ doesn't want to be sold.

That probably is the cheapest fix considering that you already have an investment in a D35 ARB and full floating shafts. If that happened to the D35 in my '93 I'm not sure if I would fix it or replace it with a Ford 8.8, but then I'm not selling.

Maybe worth waiting to see if someone will buy it as is. A prospective buyer would have these options:

1. Buy the Jeep at a reduced price with the broken tooth and fix it themselves

2. Buy the Jeep at asking price with new R&P installed

3. Buy the Jeep at a reduced price with the broken tooth. New owner part-outs the D35 and fits a Ford 8.8 or TJ D44

So, there's a silver lining. Fella contacted me after seeing the ebay ad. Not to buy, but to rent. Wants it for a couple of TV shoots in May. Paying WAY more than the parts will cost. It (the YJ) has been in a couple of shows before and they paid very nicely.

If I can't get it fixed before the first shoot (May 1st), it's still driveable, and they'd pick it up on a trailer. So he was happy to proceed, despite the issue.
