Happy New Year all

I've recently tried a modified 200 TDi 90/Defender and found it to be not ideally suitable for me - too noisy/drafty mainly!  :icon_lol:

As such, I'd like to try and get to experience a Wrangler or two - a TJ and JK, to compare

Are there any meets coming up where I might be able to do this or maybe any members local to me (Tadley area) that might be able to kindly help me out?

I'd also like to find out good suppliers for parts for mods and servicing and any decent specialists local to me?....who can advice on suitable spec/mods/costs for my needs.

Any help/guidance greatly received  :icon_e_smile:

Many thanks

Martin

Martin,

We do have an event coming up on the 4th Feb at Slindon where there will be a number of JK’s and at least one of them from a local member to you  :icon_e_biggrin: not sure if there will be any TJ’s, but there usually is.

I’m sure you would be able to chat to a number of members and get answers to your questions.

As to “local” suppliers that offer good support, as with most Jeep related things, we are a relatively small market in the UK compared to others, you will need to go slightly further for this.

A number of club members have used and continue to use Buzz, who is also a club supporter for mods. Horsham are also a relatively local dealer that a number of members have bought from and use for dealer support.

Hope this helps.

Cheers Neal

Thanks for your reply Neal  :great:

It would be good to go to the Slindon event, but I'm hoping someone will be willing to help me out beforehand as I thought it might be easier to chat rather than on an event where people have paid to drive around, not chat to me!  :icon_lol:

Cheers

Martin,

I’m sure that people would have time for you at Slindon and more than happy to give you a ride round.

I’m local and happy to meet up at some point if you want a chat, just getting over the flu this week.

Cheers Neal

Seems like there is an awful lot of standing around and chatting at these events, I’m sure you’ll have no lack of people willing to talk Jeep with you and probably give you a ride round.too

Sounds good chaps  :great:

Would I be allowed in, in my Pajero?!

Cheers

Allowed in, yes, you might just be asked to park to one side and not allowed round the site.....
