Join the Jeep Owners Club for our biggest UK Jeep event of the year, Jeep Owners of all types welcome!

 

Bring your friends and family and join us for the 2018 Summer Camp this year with activities over four days hosted in the Snowdonia National Park Wales. 2 days of cracking Green lane opportunities* with weekend package purchase along with 2 days of use of the vast and varied 70 acre Bala off road course. We will have routes suitable for all types of Jeeps from standard right from the showroom non-modified Jeeps up to heavily modified. Professional 4x4 instruction available to learn about driving off road for beginners and veteran off roaders. Jeep UK will have new model demonstrators with pro drivers for you to drive a new model Jeep on a 4x4 trail! Quality "jeepstuff" trade stands will also be at this year's summer camp including, Rigid Industries UK, GLASS and Buzz Special Vehicles, Jeep Outfitter, Be Renegade & Jeepspares.com . Weekend package and Saturday camping mean you will be able to join in the fun Saturday evening for a BBQ**, charity auction (we raised one thousand pounds for North Wales Mountain Rescue at this BBQ last year!) and live band.  Book now for something that proves each year to be a memorable event in your Jeep or just join us to camp and spectate, and drive new model Jeep demonstrators.

How to find 'Bwch yn Uchaf Campsite'

5 miles from Bala, turn off the A494 (Bala to Dolgellau road) into the village of Llanuwchllyn. Proceed until you see a bus shelter on the right hand side. Turn left directly opposite the shelter. Go over the bridge and follow the road round to the campsite past the Bala Narrow Gauge Railway Station on your right.

How to find 'Bala 4x4'

11 miles from Corwen, Head north-west on London Rd/A5 for 2.5 miles, Turn left onto A494 for 7.5 miles then turn left onto the B4401 for 0.1 miles Turn left and follow the road for Summer Camp.

 

From  Bala drive 2.6 miles towards Corwen turn right onto B4401 for 0.1 miles Turn left and follow the road for Summer Camp.

 

 

 

SUMMER CAMP ITINERARY

 

Thursday 

• Summer Camp check in located at the Campground as from 9:30

• 11:30 Assemble at Campground for Green Lane groups (Must register for Green Lanes at check in)

• Green Lanes look to finish by 17:30 then head back to Campground 

Friday 

• Arrival at Bala Off Road site 9:00 for Off Road site and if Friday night is your initial night

• 9:45 driver briefing 

• 10:00 Trails open and Jeep Demonstrator drives begin

• 12:00 Lunch break 1 hour 

• 13:00 Trails reopen 

• 16:00 Site Closes

• 19:00 Social gathering in JOC Marque, music & Real ale on tap

• Campground meals on your own (or Eagle Pub, or Bala etc.)

 

Saturday 

• Arrival at Bala Off Road site 9:00 am for Off Road site and if Saturday night is your initial night
