Good evening fellow Jeep people. Having been brought up in Kenya and learnt to drive in a series 1 Landrover I have always loved my 4x4s. Last Saturday I said goodbye to my 18 yr old Ford explorer which is now retired in Paignton. As I am a member of the Fiat Motor Club and also the Alfa Romeo owners Club I got myself a beautiful Jeep Grand Cherokee Overland from Chris Variava in Nottingham.

Nice car Bob, I love mine, I think they are an utter bargain compared to the competition and packed with kit! No lengthy options list with these it's all standard.

What brought you back from beautiful Africa?

Love how you are a member of two other groups under the FCA umbrella, and working your way through it with a Jeep now. You can probably stop there, need go no further now you're in the promised land

Still getting my head round this website, and only noticed today all the replies to my initial post. Thank you all for the kind comments, I love my Jeep and all my other cars which as Jim pointed out are all under the same FCA banner. I am trying to persuade my wife to go to the summer camp at Bala, however as we are both retired she is reluctant to camp in a tent and we don't have a caravan. As the JOC does not have any phone contacts for me to ask questions I will ask here. Can I come for just one day or two and can i stay at a B&B in Bala.

We did go to Hawkstone Park Follies in the snow which was fun and I want to attend another meet with fellow Jeep owners.

I am attaching a couple of photos of my other cars :-)
