As things are now progressing rather dramatically, I think it would be prudent to start a thread to log all of the build and ideas...

I have kept a rather 'low profile' while I try to absorb as much information as possible while this is all new to me, so if you see anything wrong, please correct me!

Firstly I am very grateful that I have found this forum, which has not only given me a great source of information, but given me all the 'tools' needed to get where I wanted to be with my Jeep. Alex from Buzz Racing, and Dean from Horsham Car Centre have now made my vision a reality, and 12 months after staring at pictures online and saving every penny has allowed me to build my dream Rubicon.

Small update...

Fitted the Mopar filler cap to tidy things up, as well as fitting some smoked tail lights.

Two simple but rewarding mods!

Quick wash this afternoon to clear all the mud from Goodwood! Hopefully I can get some proper photos at Aldermaston instead of driveway shots all the time -_- ...

On a side note, I also need to fit the rough country grab handles, new wheel bolts, and door handle inserts.43822a0c736728b117ff29b849ba3525.jpgc5e70a122821c07420a7b8d6aebfca38.jpg4b3019ab31d6308e2da1c61eaaabe797.jpg

As a few people know, the jeeps been back at Buzz having a couple more bits sorted...

- Posion Spyder side armour plates, colour matched with the arches and bumpers.

- Inside of the roof sprayed black

- Hothead Headliners installed with sound proofing.

Really happy with the end result, especially the interior (Why the roof doesn't come sprayed black from the factory i'll never know...).

It's definitely quieter inside, and looks completely OEM.

P.S no pictures of the inside sorry! If you're coming to Kielder feel free to come and check it out!

Exactly the same as always :) luckily the grab handles don't affect that as they bolt into the main Pilar, and not the roof.
