So, decided to clear the mud and dust out from last weekend and found this little 'bung' under the drivers seat.

Anyone know where it should go??

What sort of size is it Fen? Trying to guesstimate it from the planks. Are you sure it is off the Jeep and not something else that has rolled in under the seat? Can't see anything under my seat that looks like that.

Tim 18mm diameter.  15mm height.

I cannot see where it might have rolled from, there's no where for it to come from

As somebody said, it does look like a bump stop. Maybe off the glove box or centre console?

It could be one that was dropped upon assembly, and for quickness they installed another instead of looking for the dropped one.

I get this often with nuts and bolts etc with certain machinery. At first you think something has come loose and start looking from where, but normally it was a dropped item during assembly and now not needed.

It could be as above......?

not sure why I would see it now if it was dropped during final trim and assembly.

I'll have another snoop round this weekend

Hardtop ?

Stewart, not big enough for the hardtop.  Both rubbers are still there
