Platinum Member Patrick Posted May 5, 2017 Platinum Member Share Posted May 5, 2017 The last Eurocamp Jeep was in northern Germany. We took the ferry to Esbjerg (Denmark) then drove across. It's a really nice drive.

Platinum Member Wildjeeper62 Posted May 7, 2017 Platinum Member Share Posted May 7, 2017 Unfortunately that's too short notice for me. To go that far I would need the Friday and the Monday for the return journey and I can only get the Saturday and Sunday off work.
Platinum Member PeteS Posted May 7, 2017 Platinum Member Share Posted May 7, 2017 I'm already over there on holiday. Not in a jeep though. Short notice really. Would have been good to know last year really so we could all plan

Platinum Member doodle Posted May 8, 2017 Platinum Member Share Posted May 8, 2017 I am thinking boat to Denmark (never been) and maybe same or else traditional eurotunnel back to add some variety Looked at the ferry from Harwich to the Horn Approx £250 give or take depending on days going. About a 7.5Hr boat trip and then a 6-7hr drive down to the camp. Also that needs the drive from you base to Harwich.. Whichever way it needs a comfortable seat and big fuel tanks... As said maybe i take the diesel grand
Platinum Member Volant165 Posted May 9, 2017 Platinum Member Share Posted May 9, 2017 Ok thanks Doodle. Looking more like the traditional route both ways works best....
Jules
Calais to Berlin is about 9 to 10 hours last time I went that route into Germany. Plus your journey time to the Eurotunnel or Dover docks of course.
