If I remove the front prop shaft from my 4x4 does it mean I pay less road tax?  It started making funny noises so I took it off, now it's a 2WD.

I am afraid you will still pay the same road tax no matter what.

As for the front prop shaft you can get rebuild kits and get it fixed and re install it.

Not having the front prop shaft won't do much to your fuel consumption either.

Lastly if you don't re install it at least make sure sure you pass it on to the next owner as he might need/want it.

Selling soon anyway due to Motability car.......Brand new.  I must say though I'm going to miss my Jeep  :icon_cry:
