New to the forum. Currently in Australia but heading to UK for work in Jan.  Bringing my mistress (pictured).

Also looking for advice regarding modifications on JKs being brought into the UK.

Welcome to the club and yes a nice looking JK.

Is your move permanent, are you going to get the JK registered on a U.K. Plate?

One or two of the club have brought JKs into the U.K. And can advise on the process.

Cheers

Neal

Welcome to the club!

One member recently had to swap and put the factory bumper on just to pass the IVA (or whichever vehicle import criteria it was) and then return to normal after approved.

Yes, be sure when insuring over here to declare your mods. The members can also recommend insurers they have had good service from.

If that's the case then as Jim says, you may need to put the stock bumpers and may be fenders to get your JK past the IVA assessment.

I think Hugo had to do that in the past.
