But still some way to go.

Rears just need brakes now. New bearings, seals, regeared, shafts etc.

Fronts just waiting on some ball joints to fit.

Geared for 35's just need to work out how to squeeze them in with more lift or just keep cutting until they clear.

Looking good! Is that a Chrysler 8.25 in the pic?

What gears did you use for 35's?

Been contemplating such a move.

Yes 8.25 for the rear with 29 spline chro  shafts. Getting disk brakes from a ZJ.

Geared at 4.88 hopefully won't live to regret it.

I know of an 8.25 vehicle that is available if you are interested

Ah nice, that's a solid setup. I'm just after axles ideally. Is it an entire vehicle?

My Axles are on front and rear 6849f68525e0af02ff42baa9a92fdf69.jpg

But it's not without problems need to change the rear drive shaft length.

Also got carried away and thought I would lift the Jeep a little higher (even though I said I wouldn't) so my steering angles are all over the place and lower control arms hit the axle.

So far the shopping list is

Tom Woods front and rear driveshafts and SYE

Either control arm drop or long arm kit.

Over the knuckle steering or possibly do a WJ knuckle and brake swap for the front axle.

4,88 gearing and 32inch tyres makes for a lot of fun on the road until you hit the motorway.
