Hi all

Well as the summer solstice is now hear I thought I would celebrate the longest day by taking off the hard top, fitting the bimini and going for a late evening run listening to the beach boys. Are jeeps the coolest cars in the world?

A few pics of a enjoyable ride out.

Yes Mark the fork lift will come in very handy. I use a contraption I bought from the states mounted to the garage ceiling, dont ask how much it was though, its embarresing!. I definately was not thinking straight when I hit the checkout button but it does do the trick.

I had one of them weekends on 7/8th May this year

How do you find the cover? Does it keep the elements out?

Cheers,

Matt

Afternoon

The top was great we had a lot of rain on the Saturday night and the inside was dry, just pooled a bit on top of the cover  between the rear roll bars due to the amount of rain.

Very easy to put on did it by myself.

I have a Harken hoist. Very nicely made and easy to install and use.

You can easily make this yourself using ropes and pulleys, but frankly, this package is so well put together I can't help but recommend it. I have an electric hoist, but it's not needed with this system.
