Looking forward to it too Stewart. See you there! I'm off to Portugal in it on Tuesday for family holiday.Hope it's all bolted together well! Will be a good shakedown drive.

On another unconnected note, although my previous comment reminded me of it, my Grandfather (born 1900), once told me that when one used to buy a Ford, they gave you a free monkey. To follow along behind and pick up the nuts.

I'm sure Paul at PB will have ensured a monkey isn't necessary!

Thanks Chris! I'll get to see your truck tomorrow when I pick mine up!

Oh and two more pics before collection.......I do hope I'm not becoming a bore. The rear view shows the size of the wheel/tyre combo, which is bigger than I'd expected. Which is a very good thing!

Thanks for the kind comments chaps. I haven't gone far in it yet, but love it already.

There is Stage 2 of mods planned; winch, axle sliders and possibly a bit more power.

I have to see Paul at PB Customs cannot be recommended enough in my opinion.

So, off to Portugal in it on Tuesday. Should provide a good shakedown!

Just a quick update. Have been with the Jeep for the family holiday in the Algarve, for the last two weeks. A mate and I drove home in one hit. 1658 miles in 27 hours, an epic journey in an epic vehicle. We did a time lapse movie of the journey which Jon will hopefully put up on the forum.

A further update. I now realise what you chaps mean when you say a Jeep is never finished. Having completed stage 1, I thought I'd wait a while for the next stage, to allow the wallet a bit of a breather, and time for the missus to forget how much is being spent. However, I'm an impatient so and so, and PB Customs had a light bar available.......

Wilderness lighting 50" duplex lightbar 100 x 5w led's  - 28000 lumens.

Light is fitted with Wilderness A pillar brackets .

Oh, and a winch is going on shortly, so more to follow. (Don't tell my wife!)

My Jeep will be on the PB Customs stand at summer camp this weekend, if anyone is interested to see it in the flesh. Due to family commitments I can't make the whole weekend, but hope to get there on Sunday.

So stage two is now properly underway, which includes:

50" Wilderness Light Bar, Wilderness 3" Solo lights mounted on the wings, Warn Zeon 10S winch with a Warn 'Epic' hook, Grill Mesh (radiator looks a bit exposed behind the open slats), and a CKMA12 ARB Compressor is going under passenger seat, oh,  and a rear axle slider is being fitted. I've also ordered a magnetic panel protection kit.

PB Customs once again supplying all the kit and carrying out the work.

That should just about do it!

All that is left on the current list of jobs is to fit the CB. Does anyone have a recommendation as to the best mounting point please?
