Added to page 1 !

Bob will be Running Winch training this Sunday at Slindon too!

For those of you who would like a bit extra I will be offering some, one to one driver training and a winch recovery course, including correct use of snatch blocks, strops and safety. This short course will cover how and where to place your strops for single, double and triangulated pulls for different recoveries,  please ask on arrival if you would like to be involved in this demonstration ,this will be held at 11 o’clock and will last no longer than 1.5 hrs.

I have a question.  Is the other circled area on the map a red herring.

Fenton,

The other red circle is for Boxgrove, another offroad site we have used in the past.

Cheers

Neal

Hi Jeep peeps

any YJ's going to Slindon ?

just spotted a post mentioning water and a cloth, smart move, it will be quite muddy, a lot of rain last night and early this am, the police are sometimes floating about and will generally let you know if the lights and number plates are not visible after a play day at Slindon.

Just along the road at Crossbush (just east of Arundel) a couple of miles from Slindon Mud, on A 27, is a Mac-Donalds and petrol station with a jet wash if anybody is keen on a spruce up.

also a Shell garage and Burger King just west of Slindon on A27 but I don't think they have a wash.

looking forward to fun in the "Sussex Sun"

Regards, Pete

I'll bring along a 10L pump sprayer with water and a hint on TFR in so anyone that wants to clean off the vital parts like lights and number plates can do so :great:  Let's try to avoid any attention from the Local traffic cops :mdr:
