Sorry Martin ... no offence ... which system did you fit & are you really going for 40" tyres??

Maybe we should have a list for the "4+ Club" :glasses:

mine is a rough country kit, as the weight of the jeep went up, thanks to steel bumpers, front to back skid plates, 2 winches, rock sliders ETC,ETC  a 5" kit ends up giving you 3.5-4" lift, I know this as its the third kit that I have fitted to this jeep.

I wont be going above 35's, it makes the jeep too top heavy, especially for side slopes, had a few close calls already.

latest instalment ..what a day I had to day with the front end , had to ream out one of the holes on the track bar bracket  to get all the holes to line up :grrrrrr: :grrrrrr: :grrrrrr: , but finally got to the point where its back on it wheels ,,,  :icon_bounce: :icon_bounce: move it up and down drive and leaving it over night to settle then tomorrow torque up track bar and control arms ...

upper bracket bolts from diff are to long for rubicon and will have to be trimmed down so they do no contact the sensor for the locker .just one more small job that takes up time .

Doing all that on your drive ... not on a car hoist or ramp ... impressed :great:

Looks really imposing Bob - how's it going getting in (and out)?

Ha, I have a step even with the 2.5" lift so that my mother-in-law can get in and out. The number of times I forget it and leave it at home  :icon_geek:

I believe Neal also has built in side steps with his Poison Spider rock sliders :alien:

Obviously not enough for the "mil" :icon_jokercolor:

Kids and the wife can't get in mine without help

Is this the reason

Dozer only had a 2.5" lift up until now ? lol 12f84b4266c931b1c51d4b8d6bc0b291.jpg

It's higher than I expected,  it may settle after a week or two ..

it does drive spot on.But there's a little bit of wheel shimmy so iv ordered adjustable steering damper . I personally don't think the arb in the kit is up to it ..but I'm sure other may be happy with it ,
